This is a possible second source Switch for the Arduino RF Switching Unit : Switchmod.
It was designed, because I got some free samples from my colleague. Anyway, soldering is more tricky than the
originally used PE-4250. And the used FR-4 kills the wider Bandwidth of 6 GHz.
The traces are arranged in a rectangular shape in order to have the minimum cross-coupling and therefore
maximum isolation.
✈ Performance
Was measured at a supply voltage of 3.3 V (Enable) and 0 V / 3.3 V (Control). We used the
ARINST VNA-DL 1-8800 MHz for this measurements. It is an awesome tool !
The case was open and no absorbing foam was used.
