Chao Phraya Ramrakop Residence
This teak and cement block house on cement pillars is the only house remaining that was built for the entourage of
King Rama VI. It is typical of the seaside houses of the 1900's with open verandas and a tiled roof. It was the residence
of Chao Phraya Ramrakop who was the General Aide-de-camp to the King, and also a oyal Page. From the veranda, the
General could see the signal lights from the Palace: yellow means that the King is getting dressed for dinner, so the
general could proceed to the Palace - before the light changed to green, which meant that the King was already at dinner.

Mrigadayavan Palace
Mrigadayavan Palace is a former royal residence near Hua Hin. It was commissioned by King Vajiravudh to serve as a
holiday villa. The king drafted the designs for the villa, which consists of sixteen teak buildings raised by concrete
pillars and linked together by a series of walkways. Construction took place during 1923/1924, and was headed by
Italian architect Ercole Manfredi.

Hua Hin Railway Station
The original station building was built in 1910, and rebuilt in 1926, by Prince Purachatra Jayakara (former commander of the Royal State Railways
of Siam) to the current Victorian building today. The design was taken from the planned Siam Rat Museum Expo, intended to be built in 1925 at
Lumphini Park, but was never built due to the death of King Vajiravudh and the cancellation of the expo by King Prajadhipok. In 1967, Colonel
Saeng Chulacharit (former minister of the State Railway of Thailand) coordinated the relocation of the Sanam Chandra Palace Railway Pavilion
from Sanam Chandra Palace, to Hua Hin and it was renamed to "Phra Mongkut Klao Pavilion". Nowadays, it is one of the main attractions at the station.

Royal Thai Marine
The Royal Thai Marine has some boats located near the coast of Hua Hin. Under the reign of King Bhumipol Adulyadej,
the lights were lit, when his Majesty was in the Klai Kang Won Palace. This always had a calming effect on me.
